A local lady, who's been going to the bingo for 15 years, won £50,000 in the National Bingo Game on the evening of 1st May, and we could not be any happier for her.

The winner Louise, a mother to three grown up children, was enjoying a typical Friday night at the bingo with her partner. Louise was introduced to the game by her Grandmother and finds that playing bingo offers her valuable downtime and chance to relax. She has had a few smaller wins in the past, but could not believe it when she got the chance to call HOUSE!.

Louise said:

"When my numbers came up, I actually felt a bit sick and overwhelmed, it's still sinking in. I plan to treat my family to a nice holiday. If anyone is thinking about playing bingo do not hesitate, you've got to be in it to win it."

Manager of Carlton Fraserburgh, Natasha Reid said:

"I was in the office at the time and all of sudden the callers tone of voice changed. I went out to see what was going on and the hall felt electric. The atmosphere was amazing and the club was buzzing, with everyone clapping and cheering which was great to see. When I spoke to the winner, she could barely speak with the shock, but it shows that it can be done."

Khyla Stott, who was the caller on the night, said:

"At the time it didn’t register until I came off the stage and spoke with Natasha. I honestly was so happy for the customer, and you could see just how much it meant to her once it began to sink in.".
