You must be over 18 to join us.
Our staff are on hand to help, but remember, bingo is easy to learn which is why it's so much fun. You can play on traditional books or make use of our electronic tablets.
THE BASICS
We have a number of games available and the rules for each one do differ, but don't worry, our staff will tell you about everything that's on offer for that day. All you need to do is take a seat and get ready to play bingo!
While the rules do differ, the principles of bingo remain the same, so you'll pick it up in no time.
Before every game, The Caller will announce the game that is being played, for example 'single line', 'double line' or 'full house'.
If you win you must shout out before the next number is called. You can shout "House!" or "Bingo!" or "Here!", anything to identify yourself so that your ticket can be checked.
And that is basically the game of bingo!

Bingo can be a thirsty business, so why not treat yourself to some of the quality food & drink we have on offer.

Every club provide a selection of hot or cold food and snacks, with the option of a nice warm cuppa or a drink from our fully licensed bars.
If you're planning a party, then no problem. Just let us know in advance and we can make all the arrangements to suit you and your group.

CARLTON HISTORY
A STAR IS BORN
Carlton Bingo was formed in 1998 when Peter Perrins, George Carter, Brian King & Chris Barr bought out the bingo interest of Taylor Clark Limited.
PURPOSE BUILT CLUBS
Two new purpose built Carlton Bingo Clubs opened their doors for the first time in Inverness & Dunfermline. Inverness has a seating capacity of 850 and Dunfermline has a seating capacity of just over 2,000.
ONLINE BINGO LAUNCHED
Carlton launched its very successful online bingo site called CarltonBingo.com. Players are able to enjoy the thrill of bingo as well as chatting to their friends in a secure online environment.
Growth
The Company added two new Directors to its Board in 2012, Michael Watret, Operations Director and Leslie Ross, Financial Director.
Best Bingo in Scotland
The company now has 10 Bingo Halls throughout Scotland. We also have a Mall Café Bar within the Almondvale shopping centre in Livingston and a small café within our East Kilbride Club.
Creation of Employee Owned Trust
In March 2022, Carlton’s ownership transferred to an Employee Owned Trust – the first of it’s kind within the bingo sector. All employees have a stake in the current and longer term success of Carlton Bingo.

Carlton Bingo currently operates ten Bingo Clubs throughout Scotland.
We also have a Mall Café Bar with the Almondvale Shopping Centre in Livingston and a small café within our East Kilbride Club.
Our Head Office is in our original hometown of Inverness and we also have an operations office in Stirling.
We operate large bingo clubs in city centres as well as smaller clubs in towns around the country. This means we have a great understanding of how important it is to work with the local community.
